I have a 1972 series 3 and want to actually need to change my windscreen washer jets, but they seem pretty unaccessable, help please!

I would say you need a family car not a series Landrover! Landrovers are great fun but they are just that, i shouldn't think too many members on here take a family as big as yours in a series :frown:

Ok, I want to rub down my chassis and paint it, my series 3 is an ex mod one so its not in bad nick but there is flaking. Has anyone done this, i don't have the time space or tools to take my Landy apart but want to maintain it as best I can, should i wire brush it, sand paper it all advice...

so not semi synthetic then just mineral like the old castrol gtx or duckhams

I love my series 3, and every day seems to see the arrival of a new part etc etc but the dash board is well, wanting, the choke retaining plate has given way so i now have a hole, the previous owner abandoned the original ignition switch in the column and cut another hole, so my question is...

no its a metal one, i haven't had it long (The Landy that is) and i was exporing lol

i took off the cover to my metal airfilter (1972 series 3 2.25ltr petrol) and there was a little oil in the bottom, should this be there, if not is there a cleaning solution that i should use to clean the filter. Thanks in advance

Ok, I am new to Landy ownership but do love it, anyway i have noticed a banging noise from my n/s f and couldn't work out what it was, turns out that my inner wing is hanging on by a thread, but how do you attach a new one, surely if you rivot it on you have rivots through the top of your wings...

Well i took it indoors and let it enjoy the central heating for five days, put it on today and so far so good, must just have been soft the day after, but i had put a good few coats on it! Thanks for all of the advice:)

Ok so I got my very tired steering wheel off my series 3 rubbed it down and spray painted it with smooth black hammerite, it looks like new 24 hours later i pick it up and the soft paint gives, so i rub that bit down again and apply another coat, is it ever going to be durable enough for me to...

So I want to paint my series 3 steering wheel as it is seriously worn but none of my sockets are big enough to fit over the nut, can someone please tell me what size it is so I can go buy one? Thanks

i can't get the screws in the hinge to turn!

Ok I know its lame but i have just changed the glass part of my passenger door mirror on my series 3 but its loose, it looks like i have to take the door hinge off to get to the screw, please tell me i am wrong!:mad:
