hi thanks, he did say he thinks its the half shaft when he had a look and you can hear a clicking noise on the drivers side, is it a hard job { i know nothing lol}

my mate had a quick look for me the front prop shaft was spinning

hi just wondered if anyone could help me with my defender, it goes in all the gears but will only drive in diff lock, when its in normal high if i let out the clutch when in gear nothing happens at all

started a couple of week after

but wouldnt it be continually smoking if it was the timing instead of just now and again, sorry if i sound daft but my knowlege on mechanics is very limited lol

yes mate can smell diesel in the smoke, i had a new timing belt and kit fitted about a month ago could that be anything to do with it

i did think that mate but it gets really bad sometimes, drove it about 20 mile today when it was bad around 12 o clock, went out in it about an hour ago and not a thing lol
