If Rave read it correctly he would see that the wheels have to be in line before the drag link is dropped in to the tapers with the drop arm in the straight ahead position. You do not adjust the link to centralize the steering wheel. Cheers

You will find a cluster of black wires which should be attached to the rear of the passenger side cylinder head, engine wont run if these are not attached. Also have loads of parts for injection system. mikepee34@yahoo.co.uk

No marks on box. Drop arm will only fit one way because it has a master spline. If renewing drag link joints, set joints in link equal turns, set steering box in straight ahead position, run cord from back wheels to front till wheels are in line, then adjust drag link till it drops easily back...

Petrol Auto box is no good. Best bet is buy disco tdi auto and drop it all in, just have to reposition mounts off disco on to Rangie. My mate just sold disco £500, plenty out there. Having said that, the best diesel to go with auto box is Mazda SLT 35 , awesome power, smooth, good on fuel. Kits...

The air suspension lowers at speed, but how many people notice the difference, its just splitting hairs. And its critical that the correct noseweight is adhered to. There are not many who know the procedure on close coupled 4 wheel trailers, thats why you see so many Rangies down at the rear...

I dribble oil in to my dist to lube twice a year. The advance mechanism is seizing on yours, which will effect performance. Remove rotor arm, then plastic shield and dribble oil down eachside of dist ,about spoonfull, leave for an hour or so before starting. Oh and if the rotor arm is stuck...

Did they put a new seal in when they changed the filter, a lot of people miss seeing it. And did they clean the sump.Sounds as if its drawing air, hence my question re seal I'd take it back and create hell.

Did you fit the torque convertor on to the box splines first, if you didn't get it on the splines correctly you will break the drive pegs on the box oil pump when you mate the box to the engine. I suspect you have broken this. Remove box and look inside to see, if it has been broken new pump...

Easy to convert, but buy good quality springs, Disco springs, the one without boge unit I found the best to fit. Over 30 years experience with Rangies and found the ride better with springs, and steering more positive. Cheers.

I have air suspension pump off 1993 LSE, and valve block, Computer etc. I think they might be same as P38. Open to offers if you find they are suitable
