    cheers for replies i'll be using it around europe, i'd like to say for 50% on and off road BUT it'll probably end up 70-30 on road! anyway we'll see!! ta

    Now then Which would be better for long trips A disco 2 TD5 or a Defender 110 (most probably the double cab) I like some disco 2's BUT a Defender is a Defender!!! cheers

    Weatherproofing

    now then alot have the vehicles waxoyled on chassis etc to keep water off On my door internals, foot wells, seat box etc i use Acropol. I't a roofing waterproofer it stinks at first but the smell goes & it does it's job + if you've a small hole (upto the size of a pound) it'll bridge the hole...

    Waterproofed the drivers door, passenger door, bulkhead, battery box & underside of tub with a roofing solution...........LANDY STINKS!!!:doh:

    Is their a lift kit for Discovery series 2?

    You can get a lift kit that'll let you keep your rear air springs. I ordered mine from discoparts.com Suspension all you'll need to do is get the front end as normal but any land rover garage will do that for you. Beauty of it is with the long rear end of the disco you still have added piece...
