Lift kit on a Ser 2, is it worth it, given the length of the rear overhang? As you intend removing the air springs, and so the ability to lift the back end, are you sure you won't end up with a worse departure angle than the standard set up?

got a 4 inch on ours and then an extra 2 from the tyres but you will need rear correction arms and of course extended brake lines

Do you have to inform your insurance when you lift it . Also same question about the winch bumper. if it's a special policy about how much??

Can we find out what lift kit did you use to make this car look so nice?
Also what tyres are these? My Disco dream to look the same when grow-up.
Thank you!

they are pro comp tyres and made up 3 inch lifting spacers and the britpart plus 40mm springs and then correction arms which we are yet still to get from scorpion

You can get a lift kit that'll let you keep your rear air springs.
I ordered mine from discoparts.com
Suspension
all you'll need to do is get the front end as normal but any land rover garage will do that for you.

Beauty of it is with the long rear end of the disco you still have added piece of mind by being able to lift the car further on air suspension
hope it helps
