Hi all,

My Disco is away currently having its sills, boot floor and osf inner arch panel sorted, however when it comes back I would like to get its weather protection sorted while the weathers relatively good and its off the road.

My new sills will have to be drilled to mount my rocksliders in so was expecting to inject some cavity protection inside them, whats the best way of doing the rest of the vehicle?

I know there is a lot of products out there to do this kind of thing, the guy who is doing the work needed suggested alonside the cavity wax (inside sills and chassis) I should Shutz (sp?) the underside and hammerite the bootfloor....

I'm new to it all, the search didnt bring up any specifics and i'd rather do it right the first time then do it wrong and have to send it away for more welding next year!!

Thanks in advance :)

now then

alot have the vehicles waxoyled on chassis etc to keep water off

On my door internals, foot wells, seat box etc i use Acropol.
I't a roofing waterproofer it stinks at first but the smell goes & it does it's job
+ if you've a small hole (upto the size of a pound) it'll bridge the hole & seal it! its good stuff

Hope it helps

To be honest I dont really need to bridge any holes, just wanting to protect what I have....

Currently I have a load of Hammerite in shades of green and grey i'm looking to use, should I jetwash the underside then slop some Shultz under it, cavity wax the sills and chassis and use the Hammerite to do the bootfloor and inner arch?
