hiya guys im finally up to rebuilding the diff ....opened it up there where teeth in the bottom shims sheared and bearings are toast so ive cut them all off and ordered new ones just wondering tho how do you measure the pinion height do you need the special height gauge in the manual ?

Yea I managed to score heaps of the glass ones dome and flat ones at a swap meet

yea i need indicators on it just wondering what the orginal optional ones would have been were they plastic or the glass lucas bulbs ? like L594

from a parts manual i found i believe they were optional
