Hi has anyone heard of any problems with Dibble in the pyrenees we are off in 4wks to drive down through taking in some trails on route and i was told that local plod is not taking to kindly to expedition trucks using the mountain trails !! :confused:

We did 3wk solo trip in october this year and used Garmin 7200 same as G4 teams expensive but very good loaded with Olaf never get lost even when you think you are it will tell you the way out .We also took maps just incase Have a great trip we did Bob:)

A roll cage would help im sure but unless you were well strapped in you would probably do yourself a lot of damage banging around inside . having rolled a rally car a few times if i didnt have a helmet and harness on im sure i would not be here now .maybe a cage would give you a false sense of...

Yes from what we learned over there it was a tourist part of a group so we were told not sure if thats right or not it looked like a fairly new truck and it had not been there long ile try to load the photo it looks like a dinky toy you have to zoom the camera in to see it :)

Not sure it was to big to try jacking and as we were solo thought better of it I know they had huge rain storms earlier in the year and that had changed the track totally and if you slipped there was no way back up that ravine !!!

yes it prob was ,the top of the pass where chis scott describes a large boulder that has slipped down on to the track used to be passable but apparentley hasnt been for some time as the edge of the track is badly eroded which is why the 110 was down in the valley ,challenge trucks were using it...

Well it seems a long time ago that i bought the 110 and started preparing for our trip its all finished and we are off on the ferry to santander 10th oct ,then down to almeria and over to nador ,cant wait will post some pics and report on our return Bob :)

Hi Mark when are you thinking of going the wife and i are going in late sept early oct for about 3 wks in our well prepped 110 would be happy for you to tag along if you like Its our first overland in morroco and we will be doing the atlas mountains Bob

It just gives a good fixing for the drop down cooker and stiffens up the back door frame and it looks bloody good .as for the wing tops you can stand on them to access the front of the roof rack !!!

Its a Sterling pro split R .it will be running water pump and external work lights plus internal lights I forgot a few bits off the list its being polybushed plus fitted snorkel and external work lights Winch bumper and warn 9.5 winch .Engel mt35 fridge run off split batt..I will post pics...
