battery not holding charge so replaced it but still have a lack of power so i will change the coil packs and plugs

the batterys dead this morning look like it was on its way god its cold

your alarm system not over riding the ecu to turn the engine over

yep it is it comes on when you turn the ignition on and should go off when the engine starts and is ticking over

cv joint been replaced tommorrow

the car had been standing about 18hrs after i parked it up and had no warning coming up on the dash, do think it would be good idea to look at the ecu earth connection?

MIL is the engine warning light so if that on you have problem

got it checked and it the cv joint but it also thrown up another problem went to move the car and all the indicator light are on like the alarm had been tripped and the message warning was coming up with traction fault then abs and gearbox fault but no engine warning light on when ticking over

the problem was down to a misfire and leaking mainfold gasket which the dealership did not spot. i was asking question and saying hi as this site was recomend to me as one of the best.
