Disco 2 Ride height sensor prices

The ones I removed were, I believe, the originals, 14 yrs and 100k. No record of them being changed. The sensor itself was fine but the plastic bush/connector was wearing and degrading. The biggest challenge was getting them off as the fixings were pretty gummed-up.....

    Discovery 2 2004 ES Prem, Td5, Sold

Need to move on, as change in personal circumstances mean significant mileage about to be put on this lovely truck. Had her 12 months, and was sorting everything as plan was to have her as a daily driver (see list below). Really a "no expenses spared" approach to my ownership; So, the basics...

It’s no wonder the switching is a bit iffy given that dog’s breakfast of a controller!! @brian47 Appreciate the pictures though.

    disco 2 power fold mirrors

Would the real trick be the length of the pulse? Quite often I end up with the wing mirrors flapping open and shut just using the switch!

    Coolant Leak TD5 ES

I’ve known some just pull the feed pipes off the matrix at the bulkhead where they enter the cabin and use pipe to connect the two, as you say, bypassing. Just be careful when you pull the hose off the matrix, the matrix spigots can distort, and if you find it’s not that causing the issue, you...

    Coolant Leak TD5 ES

One thought... the air conditioning has drain tubes around there. When the air is cooled it condenses, the water then drains out. Two issues: sometimes the drain tubes can be a little blocked, so it can, I believe exit in the cabin. Also the water can find itself exiting over the XYZ...

Roof cross rails for D2 metropolis, premium ES and G4

I’ve looked myself and come to the conclusion that whilst (in my opinion) the fatter bars look better, the only cross-rails that fit are the original, and rare, LR ones. So settled for using them as a slightly pointless styling addition......

Replaced a sidelight bulb on my face-lift D2... what a faff.... 1) Remove headlamp protector (dealer fit when new) 2) struggle with rivnut on wing as it is loose just spins so you can’t undo the screw retaining the protector. 3) remember you have to remove grille 4) remove other headlamp...

Used a clay bar on some of the paintwork, followed by polish and wax. Now realise that Java Black is slightly metallic.... only taken me 14 months to work this out....

Turned the climate to “Lo” and to no great surprise did not get last summer’s icy blast from the vents... so booked in for a recharge on Saturday.
