Found the amp, and hadit apart and cleaned it :/ it now seems to work intermitantly, on for a few seconds (up to 30 or 40) and off for a few seconds or minuite or 2, cant decide if its a bad connection or a faulty amp any ideas?

Forgot to add, that radion lights up fine and appears to work just no sound

Took it in to the garrage today to play with the gas ecu settings, turns out it was set to throw in far to much gas, should do better now but time will tell :D :D

If you read my comment properly the snap on tool a talked about was 41 years old, therfore not sat there looking shiney and pretty. also tools have a nasty habbit of hurting you when the snap!

If your in the middle of a field, at 9:00 at night, and your baler or combine has just boken (or for that matter in the middle of no-where in your landy) knowing that halfords will change it in the morning isn't going to cheer you up much is it.

I had same problems on a v8, tried sensors (twice) b ut ended up with 2 front hubs. for my mot i took the dash out (2 screws) and put some black insulation tape over the light.

My 1999 discovery 2 is in need of a new bumper thanks to an old dear in a micra:mad: , so i thought i would put on the 2003 lights and bumper while im at it. Am i right in thinking that the bumper just goes straight on and i need to cut some metel away behind the lights? if so could anybody...
