after abit of advice for a friend he has a r reg freelander and needs new front shocks, its allrdy been lifted 2 inch whats best brands to buy and whats a good rough price

Haha no couldnt have gone any better. Yeah it was me no i havent sorted it but i dont think theres anything to sort as it goes myn probly the fastest out of the few i know of so gues i was just gettin used to this king of vehicle

Would wd40 do the trick? If not whats the best oil to use? And no im not doing the lines i was advised id only need to do this on a 3inch plus?

tommorro i am going to attempt to fit a 2" lift kit to my disco r reg i have a friend helping me whos done this twice so should be ok, is there anything i need to do to prep or watch out for wile doing the transfer?? Cheers

I suspect this is all it is but i had a freelander before so obviously major problems lol then bought a mazda and i blew up two days laiter.... So now i want to just be safe ill do the obviouse checks and change the gear box oil to be safe and see if theres any change, still the best thing ive...

Also mil light comes on and off quickly so i gues thats good :)

I dont know about any of that to be honest theres no turbo gauge on it tho

hi i recently bought a discovery after suffering with a freelander , its an r reg es model only 138 thou on it, its automatic, i drove it to dorset from birmingham last weekend and it felt like up hills there was no power ive found that theres no back box on the exhaust could this be the problem...

This is true i had problems with it before shutting and not opening so maybe fix it and then do the thing to reset the system for it or maybe drive it into a wall and buy a discovery

hi i finnished work tonight got in my freelander 1 and pulled up to the clock mechine got my coat out the boot and when i **** the door the window dropped failed attempts to shut it left me driving home with it open, ive now pulled the card off and found a pulleys snapped really unsure how this...

There abit pricey were would be the best place to look for second hand?

Hi ive recently bought a freelander s reg 1.8 petrol, ive bought some kuhmo at tires for it but garages are saying the will rub and dont want to fit them however many people on my estate off road and say it will be fine.... Not sure what to do, is there anything i can do to prevent them rubbing...
