Would wd40 do the trick? If not whats the best oil to use? And no im not doing the lines i was advised id only need to do this on a 3inch plus?
if that's all you have it will do, proper penetrating oil would be better plusgas or similar but if you dont have anything else then give everything a good coating of wd now and before bed , then again in the morning an hour or so before you start, it will make life easier.
as for the brake lines you might get away with it but give them a coat of looking at when you do the job and keep in mind the flex of the axles could be exaggerated with the lift.
are you changing to +2 shocks too?
have a look at your rubber donut on the back prop and check over all the UJs too, they will all have more work to do once the lift is on, the donuts can take a lot of hammer with a lift as the angle they have to work at is changed.
be aware there might be a slightly or more than slight change to the self centering of the steering once the lift is done.
And most important take a lot of before and after pics of it next to something for reference, maybe have a measure of the roof height to the ground before you do the lift, it might surprise you
