Thanks for the info, the symptoms were.. plooms of smoke, engine woz revving its nads off, had to stall it to stop und a grinding orrible sound. It had used a load of oil and some water. What do u think ?

You can remove the plastic casing that the maf locates into using a standard torx driver, not sure which size I used, then once out hack saw across the top of those stupid little screws so you can use a small flat screw drive to remove the maff. Worked for me.

Update. Easy start got it going, but I also gave the fuel rail pressure sensor contacts a scrape and its starting fine every time without easy start for now at least. My local garage kindly plugged it in to their diagnostics and gave me P1190 (pressure control) P0190 (pressure sensor) and P1470...

Thanks to all you guys. Sprayed some easy start in the air intake and she fired up. Am i correct in saying it is deffo an injector leak or is thier another possibility and if it is an injector leak is it something an intermediate like me can do or should i book it in somewhere. Cheers

Thanks for that, I unplugged it earlier, a chuff of dust came out when I pulled it out but the plug looked ok. Couldnt see inside the pressure sensor its self but im going to try to get it off in the morning and clean it up if needs be. I hope thats the problem as i cant really afford the main...

I also had this fault, I replaced the centre rear diff mount yesterday using ianda12's method and found it very simple. The hardest bit was freeing the bolts ( mainly coz I was trying to undo the larger side which as you know are welded to the sub frame, I know, im dumb). Anyway, job done...
