90 TD5 Starts Well, when I drive off it splutters until over 2000 revs then picks up. It only does this when cold. No obvious fuel leaks, glow plug light goes out after 5 seconds. Any ideas, they would be much appreciated ? Just don't know where to start with this one Regards Peter

Dear all Landrover 90 TD5, 97,000Miles I am building up change my glowplugs, I have been putting it off ! Which connector removal pliers should I buy, straight or bent ones? Experienced glow pluggers, your advise would be much appreciated. Regards Pete90

Asked this in the genaral arae But thought it worthwhile in here. When I start my Td5 90 it screeches for 5 mins or so. Stops when warm Could you guys give me a tip on the tops 3 things to check? I dont think its a belt, it sounds like its coming from the flowmeter side of the engine. :confused:

Rattling still there, read some scary stuff that it could be the R380 gearbox, anyone heard of gearbox rattle?

Yes its good in Slinfold, West Sussex, easy to very severe £30 per vehicle all day No jet wash !

Chaps Went to a 4x4 course in Sussex today in my TD5 90 yr 2000 Selected high and low fine Diff lock would not select by pushing left and light did not come on We did a "crossed axle" and diff lock appeared engaged driving a front and rear wheel Any thoughts? Regards Pete

Greased all UJs and splines, no change Found a rattling baffle box, not sure if that's it, it only does it when driving at 45 mph Might change it, will post here if I do
