    4.4 petrol L322 04 plate

Nah, this one has 2wd, 4wd and tiptronic as far as im aware. It slips in auto mode but doesn't slip in tiptronic

    4.4 petrol L322 04 plate

Every 2 years I have to buy a car and take it to Turkey, as it keeps the wife silent. A working car with no faults will be expensive, ergo you look for a good car with a fault or two. If the gearbox was busted and the car didn't drive, that's defo a replacement box, however, this one slips in...

    4.4 petrol L322 04 plate

Avoided??? Worst case, that would be a replacement gearbox, but I'm still not sure as to why it slips in auto mode but not Tektronix or 4x4 mode. Could it possibly be a solenoid? I mean if it were the box or torque converter it would slip in riptronic... wouldn't it?

    4.4 petrol L322 04 plate

The 2.7 seems a bit too much to take on right now, so I'm gunna grab a 4.4 litre petrol l322, which is an 04 plate. It has one problem, in that the gears slip in auto mode. Put it in either 4wd mode or tip tonic mode and it drives fine through all the gears. Leave it in drive and it...

    2.7 diesel on Feebay

There's a 2.7 diesel on ebay with a snapped timing chain. If I bid on it, what would my options be in relation to the engine? Is there any clearance, or would the top end now resemble Ken Dodds teeth? Replacement... would i have to buy a like for like engine, or could I get a 3 litre engine...

    Steering wheel wobble when breaking

This looks like the rear mount on the back of the autobox that's flapping in the breeze

    Steering wheel wobble when breaking

When I get it back to the UK I'll be selling it anyway. Those cars were built for hairdressers and footballers wives, I'm 6 foot 3 ffs, even with the seat fully lowered my head touches the roof lining. I need a proper l322

    Steering wheel wobble when breaking

Well it's significantly more wobbly at the back of the gearbox. There's a little bit of play in the passenger side wishbone but not much. She drives absolutely fine, the problem only occurs when applying the brakes

    Steering wheel wobble when breaking

Hello. I'm in Spain at my parents, and I've got a 59 plate 3 litre sport. I noticed that when breaking, the steering wheel would wobble, although now, there's a naughty knockin noise when breaking. Took it to a local garage, where it would appear to be worn wishbones, passenger side...

There are two rangeys I've got my eye on. 4.2 super duper wuper charged petrol, and a 3.0 td6. The 4.2 Will be thirstier, but which in your opinions would be the more problematic? And why? Once purchased I'll be taking it abroad for 2 years. Thanks in advance

the car in my front garden is a 1968 coupe, which I'm modernising... Lexus ls400 engine and gearbox, prop shaft to be cut, re-wiring, then there's the rear axle, which is coming off a Jensen interceptor, as it will give me rear discs, which is better than drums and shoes. Think I might be able...
