How can I stop the interference from the wipers ? Do I have to suppress the wiper motor or is there another way ?

I'm half way through fitting one now, most important is the isolator in one of the main bat cables, needs to be easy to get at . The winch comes off the main battery, with a simple switch operated split charge to a second one. If the main one goes flat I can jump it . I've used 35mm welding...

Blowtorch should have enough heat, Can you get a small pair of good quality stilsons on the stud ?

You can't go wrong with blue hylomar, but as with any of it don't use too much .

Never heard of that make, prob chinese, some of the cheap one's have poor wire feed. Most stuff I've had from screwfix has been okay, so i'd chance it for that price.

Any gasket sealer will do, just as I prefer hylomar .

I fit them with a little blue hylomar .

Can't decide which to get , sumo bars with a bit of flex or the solid heavy duty type.

Have you tried a new belt ?

Don't worry about leaks Throw the carpet away, cut the rubber sound deadening into pieces that can be removed to dry :D .
