    L322 Climate control fan problem

Oh I see. Thanks. I looked at the diagram but failed to understand it. However, now you say it I can see what you mean. Typically, it’s ****ing down at the moment. As soon as it eases off I’ll be out to check the rear fuse box. Nick

    L322 Climate control fan problem

Scrub that - checked fuses in glove compartment and in engine bay, no sign of any problems in the likely looking candidates. Also - seat climate controls working fine - heating ok and surprisingly, are blowing air when put on the cooling setting - so it is pointing to the blower or a bigger...

    L322 Climate control fan problem

Thanks @marjon - I checked the fuse listing in the drivers manual. Interior fuses seem to be behind the glove compartment. However I could not find one listed that controls the fan. I checked the fuse 29 which is listed for the drivers seat climate control and that was fine. Passenger and...

    L322 Climate control fan problem

Hi all, Unusual for me to need help with the L322 - not because I know how they work but just because it so rarely goes wrong. However, started it yesterday and tried to demist the windscreen - but no fan. The fan control dial lights up as it should, but the fan does not come on. I checked the...

New Top Gear RR off road review

Anyone see the new TG review of the brand new RR the other day? They took it round a track in Wales. Covered a rocky river bed with the car in rock-crawler mode. It’s a far cry from my old p38.

    P38A Rear screen heater

Yes it’s true, like variable reward gambling, e.g. slot machines, sometimes you win big - for example that incredible thrill when it starts in the morning - and sometimes… you don’t… but i’m addicted either way!

What did you do with your Range Rover today

But, why bother? I’d understand it if the 2nd battery was a leisure battery being used to run additional circuits, eg when camping and wanting outside lights, air compressors, etc but why have it as a backup for the main battery unless you are on safari and it’s a ‘just in case’ scenario because...

    P38A Rear screen heater

True by definition, you choose to drive a p38. Sanity out the window, obsessive, compulsive irrational attachment now the new norm. Welcome to the specific mad house and 19th layer of hell reserved for us.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I’m joining this topic later- but i don’t understand - why do you need a second battery? Surely, if the main one is dead, replace it. If it keeps being dead you have a bigger problem to fix?

    P38 viscous fan removal

Yes it does, and that is just welsh mud, Salisbury Plain mud which is basically lime putty is even worse!

    P38 viscous fan removal

For those that are sceptical about why we remove the viscous fans, here is mine after wading and one of the damage it did to the radiator and the impact that had when it exploded.

    P38 viscous fan removal

Good luck getting it back together and through the mot. If you see me you’ll recognise me. Dented, usually muddy unless the rain has washed it off - it’s looking pretty sparkling tonight! - absurdly large tyres on 16” rims, body lift which separates the body from the chassis, snorkel and rock...

    P38A Front EAS issue

I recently had similar behaviour on mine. Front sensor turned out to be the issue. Changed it and - touch wood - everything now ok.
