Unless gear lever is in park you can not remove the key, if you prise up the gear lever surround there is a black bar on the right of the lever you can lift up to mover lever into park position without having battery connected.

Have a wander over to Fullfatrr forum, got a 405 section on there.

You really need to check all the ecm on the car not just suspension as a fault in any one of them can and will stop the suspension from working.

Might be worth doing a battery reset as well.

@dwarfer did his not long ago not sure if he posted about it though and he`s not in the best of health so give it a go.

Sounds like one of the fuel transfer pumps has packed up.

Telestart fitted on my 2008 3.6 tdv8 but not found a remote for it yet so wired in the Velleman remote I took off the 2004 for now.

Had panel out on my 3.6 to drill hole for aux lead up to front foot well and as I said all those sockets are on a printed circuit so my thought would be maybe dry joint on aux socket to printed circuit, powerful have a video on how it comes apart.

Head unit, doubt its fiber problem or nothing would work thats my thought on it, I could be wrong of course as herindoors keeps telling me.

I guess you have selected aux on the head unit so other thing to think about is circuit board that aux and 12v sockets are mounted on is damaged, time to pull it apart I think.
