After 12 months of being in bits it has just struck up first time and started, pi$$ed oil out of the oil cooler pipe as it hadn't seated correctly but runs and idles lovely. Happy days

Front non heated windscreen for a Defender, very good condition. Has a slight green tint to it. A bargin at £20.00 Collection only from DE13 (Burton on Trent).

Just had a look on the parts website and it doesn't list the sealant, I have found some self amalgamating strip that Al2O3 suggested but it doesn't seem sticky enough.

I am looking for the sealant that is used on the inside of defender doors that holds the plastic to the door. It seems to be a non setting sort but for the life of me I can't think what it is called or where to get it from. Can anyone help? It is the little details in life when doing a rebuild...

Green and red is left indicators, green and white right indicators.

1990 90 converted to 200TDI. The fuse box has been changed from a glass type to a blade fuse type. Should all the fuses be live when the ignition is turned on, or do some only come live when in use. Sounds sill but only some have power to them others don't. Many thanks

Looking for an intercooler for a 200tdi Defender that actually fits in the frame and isn't too tall, I have an aftermarket one fitted and it pushes the frame up by about 15mm. Can collect if local to DE13 or will need posting/

No 2 is starter, No 3 looks like alternator.

Now starting day 4 of wiring. Alarm, immobilisers, heated electric seats, lights, heated windscreen. Oh and the most important thing, the radio.

Unfortunately you are right, the door handles are from Turkey .

At least it isn't a daily driver, at the moment, so it has only slowed me down in the door rebuild of the project, but I hate buying something that is below standard quality.

Has anyone had any experience of the Black Door Cards that are available from Britpart, I know but it is a non mechanical part so what can go wrong? I have a red and black theme on the 90 and it looks silly with the original grey door cards Are they the same sort of finish as the original ones...
