So does that spring pull the pedal back up into position? I assume if you are getting better results with it, it must be 'softer' than the single spring, making it easy to put your foot to the floor?

I don't think so. There are two pins that I put into the back of the boss that replicate the tabs on the original steering wheel. They go into the housing rather than sitting across it like these do. But maybe it is if used for a different type of car?

Ok, so took the top of the dash off. Without the wiper blades touching everything moves and works ok. When the wipers touch the window, the cable starts skipping over the top of the big cog. I tried to tighten the two nuts, but they are already dam tight. So would this suggest the cable is...

I'm not sure I know what you mean here.... From memory, there is a spring attached to the center of the front of the pedal and that goes up to one of the bolts holding on the pedal box... Or maybe i'm speaking rubbish.

Nah, was defo misaligned! I drilled out the holes on one side a bit more so I could pull the bonnet over, and seems to have done the trick!

Afternoon! I went to get 75/90 for my transfer box and axles. I was hoping to get fully synthetic as that's what I've read is best (much debated). Halfords have two kinds though - SX and MVMTF.... this threw me as I wasn't expecting an option here! What are these two and what do I need? Thanks

I follow most of this, but not when you reconnect - for the existing arrangement of bulb with both wires going in, is it not earthed? What change did you make? Bolt on bits bulb would be the simple answer I guess, but its not cheap!

But you'll have identified the issue and can work to resolve! I am in that place, though I was told the MOT would be fine. If its not fine, i'll separate the feed from LH and RH indicators and install two Lights on the dash instead so there is no feedback.

I've removed both.... fill plug is standard and standard size. I had a look again at the parts book, the LT77 and R380 seem to have the same sump plug, so I don't understand why this one doesn't fit!
