Mine starts first time unless I touch the accelerator then it will need to turn over for about 10 seconds before it fires.

Try not touching the throttle when starting.

Well we still have the manual breaker. Be quick before it goes for scrap though. We are moving it into dans unit today to start filling with rubbish so the pedals might start to get a bit inaccessible.

I have a load of parts from discovery 300tdi's that I have broken over the last couple of years. I am going to billing and happy to take any bits for collection there. I've got most bits available so please ask and if they are not to big or heavy collection from billing can be arranged...

Use one of those ARC Jetwashes with the big drain underneath and nobody has ever said anything. :)

Would it not be better to not let the mud dry? When finishing on pay and play sites we used to stop off at the local jetwash on the way home to get the worse off before the mud and crap dried as it came off so much easier.
