Disco 2 ACE BCU Light turn off

ACE is cheaper to repair than convert to conventional ARB's these days REALLY???! Where are you buying your ACE parts from?! The system is very good yes....I converted my D2 from ACE to non-ACE and never looked back and would do the same with another D2. If anything, I think ACE can be...

RR sport sc start / turnover issue

Good Battery connections and earths always a good start as you say. Could also be the starter relay or starter motor showing signs they are on their way out. HTH

    Range Rover Sales Jump

That's because a lot of Ejokes are sold on PCP's.........so you probably could afford to effectively "RENT" one ;)

Lost locking wheel nut key l322

True.... But like anything, with security you are just adding an inconvenience and extra time for them to get their dirty thieving hands on something (but hopefully the visual deterrent would have been enough to put someone off )

Lost locking wheel nut key l322

If you have a local indie....... Take it there I'm sure they will know straight away if they are genuine lockers or not.....if they are genuine they will probably have all the locking keys.... Failing that, get a locking wheel nut removal set......left hand threads...... Screw them on and off...

L322 Gearbox oil change, good or bad news

I agree mate, I've not had it done and I wouldn't (especially on an older motor!)

L322 Gearbox oil change, good or bad news

If you took it into a garage for a full flush, they hook it up to a machine and intercept the cooler pipes somewhere I believe, so it is do-able with the right kit.

What is Overfinch? Overdone, overpriced, over ???

The RRC from factory was never fitted with the 4.6 V8, it was only fitted in the P38......... So a 4.6 238BHP Overfinch RRC I would imagine would be quite some machine....( In a straight line !!)

Evoque Range Rover? More like Range Sh*t.

To be fair i'd rather own a 12 year old Freelander than be driving around in a "Range Rover" Ejoke. Now....If only I could afford a 12 year old Freelander .......

L322 Steering wheel wobble after 60mph

It is a ball joint on the hub end of the lower arm, the upper arm is a bush both ends.

    L322 Air con question

+1, Does it make the noise all the time or does it go away when the AC is switched on and the clutch is engaged to the compressor?

L322 Steering wheel wobble after 60mph

Rack's on the L322 Alan, doesn't that mean no damper ??

L322 Steering wheel wobble after 60mph

I take it you had the RR properly 4 wheel aligned after the track rod ends were replaced? I also would get the front wheels off and checked properly for balancing. Could possibly be NSF wheel bearing, but unlikely if it only ' knocks' whilst pushing and pulling Between 3 & 9 o clock on the...

L322 Comfort for the taller drivers.

Without teaching you to suck eggs..... There is a lot of adjustment in the seat, make sure you put the seat down to the lowest point as this in turn takes it back even further. HTH

    Range Rover TD6 vogue 2002

No worries RE the questions. Yes if gearbox has had a good quality re-con should last a while ( I would suggest changing fluid/filter regularly too to help pro long the life as much as possible, every couple of years if your only doing 6K P/A) Resting underneath not too much of an issue, they...

    2003 l322 td6 AIR SUSPENSION INACTIVE - HDC INACTIVE

To me, 13.9v sounds fine on TD6, mines around the same with 4+ year old Bosch battery and mine doesn't have any faults. I would sort the ' brake light switch' fault, time for a new one IMO if it is throwing up a fault or try different more LR specific diagnostics? The icarsoft is very very...

    Range Rover TD6 vogue 2002

I took the exact same step your considering (apart from I had a 2000 ES D2!) I haven't looked back. The Rangie is a far more superior car in every way. More to go wrong on the Rangie, yes miss the simplicity of the D2 occasionally but the pro's outweigh the cons IMO Fuel consumption similar if...

    Range rover vs Disco 3

Read the above post, can't comment on the access room but can't see there being any more ON THE RRS (RANGE ROVER SPORT. 2.7 TDV6 ). It's the same thing underneath!!
