Hi nodge yes replaced every single hose on the vac side with silicone vac pipe before the trip all placed so as not to rub as there was 3 places that the original had rubbed almost through. Cheers

I use metreinch sockets they grip on the flats and also fit as the name suggests metric and imperial , long breaker bar yes a god send

Hi tiny Have fitted lr boost solinoid before the trip and it still goes into limp mode same as old one. Scratching heads now. Thanks for the reply Just a thought could it be a wiring problem intermittent what controls the boost solinoid?

Update Checked turbo arm by putting a tube on it connected to a syringe. Pulled the vac and the arm moved a good 10 MM + ( hard to get a tape measure in there) fuel sensor at end of the common rail next lol will obd the map sensor when I get a chance to see what pressure its reading .. Any idea...

Hi mhm From memory you will need the m47 m57 bmw hydraulic valve lifter puller from the bay (set of 2) can't remember which one I used but was cheaper to buy set than by one ..Bosch service kit ordered on line The little label on the hp pump will give you the code to order the correct kit...
