    Hopefully the doors won't fall off. A good mate of mine worked for LR and said the FL1 can take a fair amount of punishment but he would not do in his own if there was not good protection. Will eventually upgrade to a 90 just need to break the missus in gently lol

    Yes I understand what you mean. What I'm wanting to know and not explained my self properly is what's my limit. Ones that are on now are 215/85/r16. Who makes wider alloys and are there issues ? Wanting to put tyres like this on.

    Gkn bearings will be genuine part and they are £45 from my lr spares place. So hopefully will sort the issue out cheers guys

    It's been a second car alibro and not really moved much which has resulted in the rubber perishing around the bearings allowing for exsesive movement vcu looks like new I know the people that have owned it from new. Last year it did 800 miles

    Not knock this test as very new to all this just saying about the bearings are shot so these should be replaced ? I can do the one wheel up test before I change the bearings and if needed can grab a vcu if mines gone as know lr spares place has them in as enquirered Thursday. Just saying the...

    Car has only done 47k miles so will get bearings changed as they look shot at and the movement in it. Also got told full lock forward if it's gone pushs the car forwards instead of turning as well. Very mixed opinion on this topic

    Ment when car was stopped cause if the vcu is buggered its always driving back wheels ain't it ?? Seems ok on reverse full lock just checked it. Hopefully have it sorted out Wednesday as going to garage and getting updated bearings from lr spares in town
