All of us have bought 2nd hand cars, so what have you found in them? Weirdest, funniest, strangest, best, worst? For me just the usual ****e really found loads of unused condoms hidden around a calibra i bought to repair, the odd knife, and the odd tool and of course a bit of loose change...

With it jacked up get someone to put the brakes on and see if the play goes if so it'll be the wheel bearing, but generally if the play is side to side I would say its a track rod/drag link end or even excess steering box free play

I really want to pickup it but not allowed not as I'm told "we need" 3 seats, but anymore trips down water lane and it'll need bobing;)

but you can see all we did was chop a bit of small box section up weld it the x member of the body and then bolted through the chassis

it will be the slave cylinder mine was the same it will have leaked into the bell housing, id be changing the master cylinder at the same time tho

am thinking of doing my own cage also, am thinking that i'll need around 25 metres of cds so just need to get a good price then will get a bender and away I go!! roll cage clamp | eBay let us know how you get on

my d1 was doing this it turned out to be the slave cylinder was weeping replaced it and the master at the same time just to be sure and all was well again

yup **** easy job, done mine twice the week due to fitting a 2nd hand pump that didn't work, first time took about 30 mins second tome was about 15 mins
