Electrical Problem I need some help please

First stick some sort of home location in your on-screen details. There might be someone close at hand with diagnostics or spare parts lying around that might save you time and the cost of buying bits on a gut feeling. Secondly, if it has been parked up for that long it's probably got damp a...

    Side Steps, Opinions required

Are they definitely rusty or just bent? I got given a set that were a bit mishapen. Stripped the rubber off, beat them flat, coated them in hammerite and re-fitted the rubbers. I had a couple of replacement brackets made, POP for my local metal benders. I like the look.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

It's twelfth engine oil & filter change since I've owned it. Did the gearbox as well as the new one has done about 5k. Nice clean ATF coming out but, as I expected, the magnet was a bit furry. Greased front prop and checked front diff. Rears tonight once I get the knots out of my spine. Oh for...

Greetings Welcome to the world of Range Rovers Zero rust is quite normal Test the pressure by all means but I'll bet you that it's the compressor that needs attention not the pressure switch

    V8 bonnet buffer

I use a local fencing company. They spend their days fabricating and welding steel fences and gates so enjoy something different. Magic welders and can fabricate just about anything - as long as you want it strong! They've saved a few of my wheelchair clients small fortunes repairing parts and...

    Diesel check engine light

That's only another generic device. It might read this engine fault but not much more. It's own advertising says that it'll work on cars after '99 and then only on systems 'dependant on vehicle'. If you're going to keep the car bite the bullet and buy the proper kit.

    Air in fuel line

Whilst air in the fuel line is not good don't get blinkered. Are your glow plugs reasonably new, good quality and are they all (or at least 4) firing? Are the injector leak-off pipes good and secure? Have you checked your in-tank pump? Is there any difference in the amount of cranking...

    Wierd EAS compressor problem . . .

I've refurbed a few of these pumps and never had to use lubricant to get the piston back in. This wouldn't be the first time that someone has tried, and failed, to improve on the original. (Hands up those who remember the Dutch kits) Try 'original_landyair' on ebay for parts. Under his previous...
