Just refurishing a V8 bonnet. One of the buffer brackets is shot - does anyone know the part number or a place that sells them. Alternatively I could remove another one (they are only diverted on) and send it off as a template to be copied - but who to?

I use a local fencing company. They spend their days fabricating and welding steel fences and gates so enjoy something different. Magic welders and can fabricate just about anything - as long as you want it strong! They've saved a few of my wheelchair clients small fortunes repairing parts and making modifications.

Having checked again one is rivetted on whereas the other two are tacked. If they are not available, I'll probably make one.
