Thanks all - sorry for the delay in responding, i found the fault it was a damp ECU and now its dried out all is ok.. I think my son may have well found a few large bogs to run through, with a trailer on the back wasn't the best plan? But thank you all

its a dayco belt, i think i'll just put this back together and hope it doesnt happen again

it was fitted by a local specialist, your right though there is no evidence of it rubbing
