Have a Defender 110, 1991 with a Roverdrive DX fitted to a LT230 Transfer case, LT 77 gearbox and a Defender 200TDI engine. However on engaging it keep getting a whine which becomes louder when speed is increased. Checked the spring preload etc, but just cant get rid of the whine.

You need o fabricate a new pulley, thats what I did on mine as I too had an A/C also.

want to do the same thing on my def 200tdi 110. do you have any pictures? Where did you get this stuff?

Luck guy your in UK. I have to do the same thing on mine, first have to find someone who can do it here in Bangalore, someone special who can work on Aluminium.

Just made new seat bases for the front and reupholstered them and the cubby box.

Whats the advantage of having them? Better on or off?

I have these three choices:- 1. Use BFG 285/75/16s on Steel Mods of say 10" x 16"D 2. Use Maxxis 35x12.5x15 on Steel Mods of 10-12 x 15" D 3. Use BFG 285/75/16s on nice Boost Alloys that will fit my Rear drum D110. What alloys can be applicable for option-3
