Always welcome an electronics expert. Hope your cooling issue is nothing too serious. I would start by checking all pipework is connected correctly as it is possible to refit some incorrectly when replacing components. I think blocked heater matrix will cause overheat on td5 so check heater works ok

I think it is 70 ft pound. If pump is off the engine hold coupling in vice with soft jaws. If it is on then ideally you need a piece of bar with holes drilled in it to bolt to hub. As long as coupling did not fall off it will not move. When we used to pull them they are so tight on taper they go...

From memory there is no key in the drive coupling but the coupling is securely locked on its taper and even with nut off takes lots of force to remove. When the coupling is fitted originally the fuel pump plunger lift is set with keyway in shaft approaching number 1 cylinder using a dti...

Not sure how easy to fit but maybe easier to find a 3.0 litre six from a P5. If you can find one of the last ones with the Weslake mods from the manual version you would be looking at 134bhp and 169lb/ft at 1750 rpm. I had one in a P5 Coupe silky smooth and almost same power as the v8. Not sure...

Seats in 2005 just have two pin plug the seat heater has a thermal cutout so all you need is power and earth. the switches look same as images loaded by Wimblowdriver. I have included wiring pinout if you have genuine switches

Yes it has a pipe instead of a breather hole. Mine working just fine. I guess u you could put a length of tube on it if you want to mitigate against fuel all over engine should it spring a leak in the future

you can use five piece compression fittings to join nylon to metal pipes. The most common error is not using the correct olives. Use stepped olive for nylon and barrel olives for the metal. Sorry if I am stating the obvious.
