    200 TDI Boost Ring

so fitted the boost controller this weekend... already have the boost pin and the boost ring which are the best £100 ever spent, but with the boost controller fitted I cannot find proper boost, or even any change in boost; just done some motorway miles and tried; fully closed (eventually)...

300tdi wastegate actuator rod clip. How much??

Hi Neilly, Can you / anyone tell me approx length to start. Mine was replaced and noticeably longer, have probs too much fuel knock, black smoke and not as much boost obviously. I cannot believe in factory they have a rolling road / drove each one with a t-piece boost??? I also have the fourby...

    Smoking problem bad?

Great thanks for that, I will get a manual boost controller, should I still shorten the arm or does the boost controller do away with the need to dial in the length of wastegate arm? and yes am monitoring EGT

    Smoking problem bad?

I have a good 300tdi engine in the 110, but took a while to diagnose the wastegate being the reason the new turbo was not working, bla bla bla, in short I have been running the engine with the wastegate arm too long, as its a bugger to adjust without taking the whole manifold etc off *again*...

door gap water ingress not in ingress manual

thanks may try expanding stuff. Does that look like a crap / shrunk / receding door seal. There does look to be something in water ingress about repositioning door seals is that maybe it? expanding foam looks good tho, do you put it on frame or door?

    300Tdi Engine Tuning.

Thought I would add my experience here, with a good well looked after 300tdi CSW 110 on standard springs and original height. starting point was it would do 70 at a push, 50mph up a hill, needed the lower first gear to get any speed quickly, but would pull away in 2nd. no smoke on acceleration...

door gap water ingress not in ingress manual

So after following the water ingress manual, getting the new equivalent of dum-dum, non acidic silicone, etc I now have no leaks from tops of doors, alpine lights, bulkhead hinges.... etc, etc. but I still have floor panel carpets with soggy bottoms... two things yet to do are the pedal area...
