Seen on a 4x4 group on faceache

You have 10 bolts to remove odds are 5 or more will squeek, tyres take a while to sell. Not worth the risk andtime. Roib 2 landys instead of one reduce risk and make same money,,, Tyres may cut in a cerain way with wheel/colour combo will make being caught more likely easier to leave them...

Worse the human body is designed to react to high pitch noises(so babys crying wakes us up). Also tyres will be more recognizable if you try and resell

Wheel bolts tend to make a high pitched squeek when you remove them also tyres don't sell fast enough! That looks ####ing awesome!

Can a Freelander be reliable ????

Oh yeah anything can be reliable but as an average user back then, We just changed oil and thought we had taken care of the engine lol. Mind you I borrowed a mates MG and put the revs into the red and left it there lmao, Christ that car was abused before it went in glorious style!

Can a Freelander be reliable ????

My disco had a ****ty engine but was rust free, Been looking at commercial freelanders for work and they seem to be spot on in TD4 trim but the K series is just a ****ty block! I know many lads who have owned rover/Mg's with the K series and they all went pop

    Thirsty 200 tdi auto

a 200tdi is so old that the chances are some-one has fettled a little bit or she could just need a good service. Try adding a drop of 2 stroke oil or a small drop of petrol in the tank, help clean her out. Check all your seals to see if there is a leak!

    Best bodges!

I used a nappy bag and cable tie to stop my power steering fluid from leaking. Not really an epic story but the only bodge I've done!

    What size wheels to use?

No worries mate. You caught me in a good mood otherwise I might have joined in. Stick around introduce yourself and have a read of the forum and all will become clear. I would recomend Mach 5's they look smart on a defender. Not sure on the ET and all but use quality spacers to move them out a bit!
