    Camping Trailer Defender Sankey Hybrid

If anyone can tell me how to upload more than one photo at a time, I'd appreciate it, as the way i'm doing it is slow!

    Camping Trailer Defender Sankey Hybrid

Hi All, I've been wanting to do a camping trailer for some time, and while I started a little while a go things I do tend to move slow, but with the recent lock down and Furlough things really picked up so I thought I would share with you all! Not sure how many photos I will upload in one go...

    Sankey Mk3 Brake Fittings

Hi All, I need a new brake pipe fitting on my Sankey Mk 3, and i can't figure out what size I need! I've worked out that pipe is 1/4, I've tried a 7/16 UNF but it does not fit. Picture of the fitting in question attached. Anyone know? Thanks

    Whats one of these then?

Central locking is a good bet for a Td5 as suggested by all. Does your have CLing?, pull the aerial cable and see if it the CL remote operating distance gets shorter - making sure you can unlock without it manually first of course. or as nobber say!

    Whats one of these then?

Looks like an after market electrical item. Depending on what Defender you have could be a few things..... Cruise control / Audio / camera / Central locking / alarm. I'm sure someone will be able to ID it. Try unplugging it and see what stops working!!!

Britpart Panhard Rod Poly Bush...too big/tight?

When I fitted poly bushes in the past they've looked too big for the hole. But always pressed in fine with some grease and arbor press. Got a pic?

    Easiest and quickest bulkhead change.

That's bad luck, and unfortunately very common. If you opt for it, there's a fair bit on the net of people who have done it. I'd say take a week off work and smash it out with late nights, but every time I've attempted that I've needed a part that I couldn't get in time or something else has...

    Easiest and quickest bulkhead change.

Its a pretty integral part of the vehicle. Not to say someone with experience couldn't have it done in a day - but that's a very wild guess. I spent many weekends on it. I guess that's why a lot of them are patched up and shipped out - just like mine was.

    Easiest and quickest bulkhead change.

Pretty sure there is only one way, could be wrong. Its not too bad, but the wiring harness is a pain. This caused me weeks of pain after it was put back together. Wings off, screen off, doors off, floors out, tunnel out. Take lots of photos in particular of wiring connections. Pull wiring into...

    1993 Defender 90 Rebuild

That's a good article, wish I had this when I did mine. But of the list I only did two - wiper motor, and transmission tunnel flange. I just stuck on the old to the new bulkhead. Didn't have any issue with install, although the wiring harness was a bit of a mare, and I guess point 7. explains...

    1993 Defender 90 Rebuild

It is possible, did it to mine a long time ago. From memory the only difference is the wiper motor location, which on the Td5 is better (higher) as it keeps it out the way of the speaker. But you'll need the Td5 type motor and drive. Maybe some other differences that I've forgotten about, but...

    Rear Door Newly Painted Bubbling

You may suffer the same fate with a new door, especially if its the same brand. If the damage is only to the paint - i.e cosmetic it might be worth asking your body shop to try an isolator coat or seam sealant.

    Rear Tub Repair

Could do with a bigger picture, can;t really see what's going on there. But from what i can see I'd say you could probably patch that without needing a YRM part - although they do help make everything look nice.

    The new defender!

There are a lot of options to pick through. Very expensive. Will be a few years before these make it out on the pay and play sites or green lanes. Do like the look of the 400bhp option....

    Stubborn swivel housing assembly bolts

As what Al203 said, I'm probably being over cautious on the hardening of steel bit I guess. I've heard of needing to cool it as part of the process but don't know as much Al203. Either way, good luck. Every time I resort to drilling it seems to go wrong for me!
