M and S green stars on dash showing

Does it happen mostly when changing from drive to reverse if so it likely to be the xyz switch on the auto box quite expensive to fix.. but as already stated check the red plug on the ECU. Just did mine and it was full of oil.. needs new injector loom which will cost £30 and is an easy job...

Other what have u done on ur disco today

Been having a few minor issues with performance and last week a weird staring issue and the Landy going into limp mode with M&S lights flashing.. Having read a few posts on here and searching YouTube I decided I should check the Red plug to the ECU... I was not shocked to find oil, in fact I was...

Disco 2 Weird clicking from front wheel

+1 for this idea, you need to eliminate the tyre, if it's still there with spare on could be wheel bearing which has a flat spot maybe that causes the noise when under load.. also I would jack up the wheel from under the axle so the suspension is NOT dropping.. could it be something on the wheel...

    Disco 2 OMG!!!! That's shocking

Hi all, hope you're enjoying your weekends.. Well last week I posted a thread asking for some advice as I had a incident when my D2 TD5 auto failed to start, then started really rough, engine recovered but she then went into limp mode with the M&S lights flashing... got home ok in limp mode...

    Welding again!!!

Dieseldog is right.. twin stage are more common but the gauge for flow rate is not very accurate.. always better to have the flow rate meter that deiseldog gave you a link to.. Little tip on that while we are on the subject... set the flow rate to between 9 and 11 no higher.. if you are getting...

I recently rejoined the D2 club and while searching for this one I really wanted an auto. my last one was an auto and loved it so much could not now go back to manual.. The one i got is a PFL but has a 16p engine in it.. you have to learn how to drive an auto, you can persuade it to go into...

ACE or no ACE that is the question

Now that' an interesting idea.. did you use steel hydraulic pipe or flex hose?

ACE or no ACE that is the question

Ok so my 2001 D2 ES auto has ACE fitted but it has been disconnected but not removed.. It has anti roll bars front and rear and it actually corners quite well (not as good as my last D2 that had working ACE) so I think I can safely presume who ever disconnected the ace added standard anti roll...

Tightened that and all...

    What did I break?

Actually you raise a good point.. I will have to look to see if the ace pump has been removed.. I don't think it has to be honest.. need to do some more research me thinks Nige
