    Wiltshire green lanes

Having been on the Bakewell Bash last year (although without my 90) I could only hope the Wilts Wimble would be as good.

    Wiltshire green lanes

That's cruel ER1C, plus wrong gender and almost (but not quite) as old as me. It's been many years since I rode a bike, and I make a crap pillion passenger. Still fancy a Wilts run though.

I'd be up for a Wiltshire Womble (trade mark registered). Always fancied a run on the plain.

    RIP J D Portrey (Johnnew)

I should refrain from saying "Ooh 'Ere missis", but I couldn't

    RIP J D Portrey (Johnnew)

I am lucky enough to have a memento - the photo of me head deep in my 90 on LZ12 (LZ11?) was a great shot by John. Remember the good times Heidi.

    RIP J D Portrey (Johnnew)

Usually when there's a RIP notification on here it's for a musician or actor. When I realised it was John as in John and Heidi it was a bit of a shock. He and Heidi always seemed such a team. Rest in peace John, and a virtual hug from us to Heidi.

    Hi guy

I had a Richards chassis, largely because Marsland were so busy they weren't even picking up the phone. The Richards seems fine, everything fitted and, as I gave it two coats of Corroless, it should see me out. I couldn't fit the chassis myself for various reasons, and had it done by a good...

    LT77 Nylon pad location?

Thanks James, riding to the rescue as always.

    LT77 Nylon pad location?

That's what I would normally default to, and what I will do unless @jamesmartin tells me otherwise. I was made curious by the fact that the reversed fitting was on my motor, and also on the Slikshift fitting video. Probably just coincidence. Anyway Coffeelandy, you saved me from going off in a...

    LT77 Nylon pad location?

Wot, nobody knows? Or am I on everyone's ignore list

    LT77 Nylon pad location?

Changing the gear lever housing due to wear in the slots. I found the spring loaded nylon pad was on the side of the bias spring roll pin. In the workshop manual section 37 page 18 it says to ensure the pad is fitted on the opposite side. Did the previous guy know something I don't, or was he...

    Bakewell Bash ...

A great weekend Paul, thanks for organising it. Next year I might be driving my own motor, but in the meantime thank you @110woman and @Lakes Rob for driving us around. Great lanes, great company, and a pretty good campsite. Here's to the next one! @blue beasty, just to let you know that we...

    Bakewell Bash ...

Sam and Rob were tougher than us, we were the first to sneak off to our van. My excuse is Linda was turning blue, a colour which I find strangly attractive :p Anyway, Sam and Rob have kindly offered to let us be their gate bitches. Looking forward to seeing what today brings
