L322 Rear Screen Washer Leak Resolved

Bloody hell, I didn't know my L322 even had a rear screen wash! Of course it doesn't work, is the water sent from the front of the vehicle or is there some other 'fiendish' device for the rear?

    2006 L322 TD6 Anti-roll bar linkage

yep get your MOT at a test centre NOT at a garage, it is in the vested interest of a garage to 'find' faults so they can repair them. Back in the day there used to be a garage near me run by an old boy who people trusted, however they were unaware that unless you monitored the test properly he...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Not sure about your L322, but on mine if you only use the AUX input (mine has been modified to take MP3 etc) you can easily overide the logic 7 settings. I use a blue tooth receiver that plugs into the lighter socket for power and is set to 87.5 FM on my stereo because no one uses that frequency...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I am going to check the oil level later today and will see what the colour is. I had thought about doing another oil change just to see if the oil appeared clearer. Yes the retaining 15mm's are well hidden, I realised the first time we changed it we put the air filter in upside down! Now it is...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

So you use an extractor as well? The only reason I originally purchased one was because ours has 'additional' armour plating under the sump, it was an export model to Australia and the person who ordered it from new added it as an extra...I know as it is on the original build sheet. Point is it...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

The price difference between a genuine filter and a knock off is peanuts, same as when buying oil, why skimp when you can buy really good oil for about 20% more? Good new oil or risk damage to the engine by using cheapo? No brainer!

What did you do with your Range Rover today

We just did a six month interim service today on our 2006 3.0 TDi Range Rover Vogue, used the extractor pump to change the oil, wish I had owned one back in the day! Immaculate change absolutely NO oil spillage on the driveway or anywhere else, possibly the best £40 that I have ever spent of...

    L322 lower suspension arm replacement

Thanks for that info, much appreciated. The replacement parts I ordered are already set up with the ball joint in place, makes it much easier I presume, still debating if we should do this at home or not, but garage want what I consider to be a fortune £550 ex VAT! Ouch!

    L322 lower suspension arm replacement

Morning Peopes, We need to replace the lower suspension arm on the N/Side, the other side will doubtless need replacing soon, the way I see it is that it is better to replace BOTH upper and lower on BOTH sides at the same time. My reasoning being that it is a lot of work just to replace the ball...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Yesterday I was in a hurry to go out of town to avoid the last day of the RHS flower show (woodstock without the hippies!) But there was a van blocking the exit from my parking bay, so I had to reverse backwards and then go forwards to get out, unfortunately in my haste I 'clipped' the front...

    L322 New tyres

Yep they are the 'older style' 18" alloys but with 275 x 65 x 18's on....a good friend of mine who used to have a V8 diesel RR said mine was more comfortable than his, so it must be the tyre size that makes the difference. The suspension has been raised by 7.5cms to allow for the bigger tyres...

    L322 New tyres

I put Pirelli P275 65 18 P275/65R18 114H MICHELIN PILOT LTX M+S TYRES on the front of our L322, different tread pattern to the A/T tyres on the back but seem to be no problem. Got the pair of them brand new for £190 excluding fitting.

    VIN mystery?

interesting, the date of first registration was 17.02.2006 thanks for that. The shaft that didn't fit was the passenger side drive shaft, I did notice there had been a recall for the front prop shaft in 08.08.2006.

    VIN mystery?

Wonder if anyone can help, I have a range rover vogue 3.0tdi VIN number SALLMAMC36A219067 I know it was orignally exported to Australia, I ran a check using VINDECODERZ which was very helpful and included the original build sheet and spec. I am a bit confused though, because it states the...

    P38A 4.6 ulez

Ours was exported to Australia when new and then re-imported via Ireland and finally to England whereupon it was listed as 'land rover' unknown' It means we don't pay Sadist Khan's £12 per day ULEZ despite it being a 3 litre turbo diesel, makes no sense! But we are happy!
