I have looked at several threads on the eas faults and just need to check im looking in the right direction. when i use the emergency valves it stays up so im making the assumption the bags are ok, how ever when connected to the valve block the front drops over night followed by the back next...

fitted new calipers to the rear of the 6x4 couldn't get any fluid out :eek:, discovered they have never worked?

they were going through auction last month at an average of £1k, that's why there's another sat at my storage, nice looking black one

so in an ideal perfect working system its fine, but if one caliper stops working it lets the one wheel turn whilst one is stopped that turning motion must pass back up the prop into the transfer box causing either front prop to turn or gear box

Friday it broke the prop centre bearing (again) Saturday i fixed it, Sunday it breaks the fan belt, it now sits in the corner of the shed till it learns not to break things

depends i got a rebuild kit for the jag

sounds like bull sh*t to me

if he tried to put one of mine on the rolling road he would be getting the bill for a new gear box

just tell him to read his manual whilst you make an appeal to dvsa, and as a fixed 4x4 it shouldn't be on his roller

don't forget to take a boat

they do thin flexible panels now wouldn't be that difficult to retro fit one onto the roof

ive got a bmw 6 speed from an x3, a friend owns a recovery yard, dropped of a complete manual x3 off so i just transplanted what i needed, if i was to do another there are some things i would do different.
