    Td5 no start

Try pressing the fuel cut off inertia switch button on the bulkhead, my TD5 did not start one day and thats what it was, it must have tripped shutting off the fuel, after resetting the switch it fired up instantly.

    [Newbie]: TD5 starting problems

Try the easiest thing first charge your battery or replace it for a heavy duty truck battery, TD5's require a good battery to spin them over fast enough to start in cold weather, once started they are fine, classic battery issue.

2.4 Defender struggling to change gears

Check your clutch fluid level, have you a small wet patch under your clutch peddle ?. If so master cylinder seal will be leaking.
  5. Scooby22

    Battery discharge overnight

Most likely the alternator Diode has been damaged, this is a one way switch to send power to the battery, if it is damaged current will flow backwards.

    Black smoke and no power

Photo 2 are emission control solenoids not fuel injectors, if your egr is blanked off the vacuum pipe will be redundant but should be blanked off. Check your air inlet pipes for leaks, from filter to aftercooler and turbo and inlet manifold for leaks and split hoses. Remove blanking plate and...

I put my bike in the back and dropped my 90 off for MOT, rode 4 miles home, (first time I have rode a bike in 20 years, my body was actually steaming when I got home) it's terrifying riding a bike on the roads now. got the phone call to say MOT was done and happily it passed with no advisories...

2013 Land Rover Defender 90 alarming

THe only time my alarm has gone off spuriously it was the bonnet alarm swith on the bulkhead that needed straightening up, bonnet was not pushing it down far enough, my neighbour had the same problem on his Range Rover. The bracket may need pushing up a bit as well.

    Sticking Hand Brake

Usually caused by the cable bending at hand brake lever connection, a very common fault, new cable required. Changed mine for same fault and now perfect.

Can we have the LandyZone site back to how it used to be,

Yes, have tried that but it is still the same, seams to be a problem with android devices. But only with this Landyzone site.
  18. Scooby22

Can we have the LandyZone site back to how it used to be,

The new format is great but hate it in portrait view, can we have back to landscape. It has reverted back a couple of times but only for a very short time then it goes back to portrait, very awkward on galaxy tab.

What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

After promising for years to replace my rusted and crusty old side steps on my 19 year old 90 (a mere pup I know) I finally got round to fitting them (like for like), after struggling with a couple of stubborn bolts that required my Dremel to grind them off, once the old ones were removed I...
