Have you got the 10v at the fuel gauge too as diagram shows them linked

The voltage regulator should output just 10v , if you getting 10.5v that could make it read high

Good idea to get a set of thread pitch gauges , one for metric and one for unf /UNC and either 0-25 mic or vernier and a Zeus book to refer to...
