    I have only used it on seams where I have welded new metal in, and places like footwells etc do not so flexible I suppose

    I used Granville brushable seam sealer with my Sankey rebuild, worked well and can be over painted once dry

    they probably did, and it was probably fine then. You need to check the levels more than just at the annual service tbh, I do mine before any long journey and approx every fortnight to 4 weeks

    apaet from the checker plate I agree with this. Mine is on the bonnet. However I dont remove it when topping up fluids, it isn’t that heavy. reinforced bonnet and solid bonnet prop (not scissor type) are essential. I like it on the bonnet :)

    My 2.5na used to pass fine. On a vehicle that old it’s just a visual smoke test and a probe up the exhaust for a numerical figure, so I would take it to an old skool type village garage with time served mechanics that understand old engines etc rather than a National chain with spotty youths...
