    I was very wary after seeing another clip where they had hot start issues which to me would be a timing modulation issue, but they just went ahead and fitted a hot start kit.

    Other night when I woke and was bored I watched a few P38 videos on the tube, usually guaranteed to send me back to sleep. Watched one about lack of power and how they adjusted injected quantity on top of FIP by tapping backwards. Their IQ was at 20mg/s and they were saying should be 5. Anyway...

    Tret the old gal to an engine oil and filter change. :) Whilst I was at it checked timing modulation, pump was replaced a few weeks back if you remember, 47% so I suppose thats OK

    Bridge shown above in left hand board. This is what the metal strip touches and the batteries the round one

    Is the metal strip touching the top of the batteries as looks in the photo as this will short them out, it should only touch the batteries underneath and then connect to a piece on the board. I can't see this bit on either board. Google PaulP38.com. Sure he's got photos of the inside of a keyfob

    Sure I've seen a how to on one of the sites on changing the O ring without removing the pump. Try a google search
