If you have the tilt symbol on your panel… remove it & sell it. Them are rare

Crawl under the motor & find the gearbox. Look for some pipes & follow these. Most coolers are accros the front of the motor infront of the radiator. Now you could just have disturbed a cable to earth while you been doing maintenance.

Not spotted that symbol on defenders before. Now the sensor may be. On the gearbox oil cooler. Do you have 1 ? Some later ones had these fitted. Don’t normally see the probes on gear boxes

Ok to use the 110 axle as would have same load ratings.they just make a few changes to springs. Post some photos of the corner damage & will look at mine the weekend when I’m home .. Nothing stopping you putting a trailer board onto the tail gate… dam you need the corner to hold the tailgate...

Check which prop takes the bigger cup UJ. Thats the difference between 2 props Normally you can’t tell until the props infront of you

Another point… You may struggle to get a 110 disk Salisbury axle. It may be easier to get a stripped down 1 & rebuild it with your stuff. ( if you desperate to get back on the road get a disco axle to use complete as this will fit & replace once you have a 110 type)

Just say the camper van was looking at the views… they are either going slow or wandering on the road. As for your motor.. Have you seen the price of rear Hicaps. Probally cheaper to put a flat piece of wood & some wheel arches for a few months.

Could you have put the clutch plate on the wrong way?

Used the van type tyres before(local truck tyre chap gets them cheaper) No problems on road or grass while towing extra large horse trailer. Can’t remember if these are recasted/remould type tyres. But as they truck tyres they have to pass tests Used them 4 years no problems

Have you measured the old doors & the holes the latches go into?

110 bigger callipers,think 4 pot not 2 pot. Yep all disks are standard size for all LR products All fittings are in the same place Mine is disco axles tubes running the 110 ends

No there are 2 types of calieprs… 1 has small pads,same front & back on disco 1 has large pads,same as later disco & 110 fronts. Don’t worry though both types use the same fixings on the axles
