If you still have the defender engine, swap the defender exhaust manifold onto the Disco engine. Otherwise, you can move the turbo outlet to point upwards by drilling and tapping a couple of new holes. There is a link somewhere to a website that shows it. I cba linking tonight, I may do so...

Backed her out of the shed and power washed the engine and chassis. Engine looks better with the ally corrosion blown off. Drained the (rusty) water out of the engine, flushed the rad and filled back up with water. Cut off the drain on the airfilter housing and glued a plate over the hole...

Try getting them manicured first, then.

Fog light mended and working after tracing a broken earth wire. Temp joint to check and will run new wires. Reverse light working and diff-lock light working. Put atf in power steering and it kinda works. Pump is grumble and steering sticks when turning left. I'm hoping it clears up.

More bits done today. Pic of heater cable clip... Brake lights now work. Fog light has a bad earth- yet to be sorted- and a bad case of falling apart... I'll try and glue it back together. Decided to put the new second-hand wheels on it so it looks like I'm making progress. Before and...

Nope. See pics. Smooth round body- no hooks or stuff. Just over 6 1/2" or 166mm in dia. Why would I want to buy a 300tdi one, when this came free with the £100 engine donor vehicle?;)

I can adapt it. So long as it clamps around a round filter box it'll be fine.

I found what they were and ordered 4. 1 for each heater cable and 2 spares.

Mine's a 200tdi. It'll bolt to where ever it fits, one way or another.:D
