Oh dear, that don't sound good. I started by dropping the sump & rebuilding the bottom end. Ended up with a new engine.:D If you've got the sump off you may as well change the shells, think they are about £35.

Turns out mine was front bush on trailing arms, the front of the diff was moving up & down which was making it sound like the prop was running out. At last mine is sorted.

As everbody has said, good for undoing but Don't use it to do up. I use it for doing up wheel nuts but only one flick of the trigger, even then you can't do them up tighter with a breaker bar. So you have been warned.

I had the same problem with my diff guard, had to make a spacer to fit the steering rod.

Mines a wide angle prop which when new is already set so the joints are at 45 deg to each other.

I don't know but when you find out what it is let me know, cos mines doing the same thing. I've changed almost everything, rear bearing, half shafts, transfer box & hand brake drum. The only time it stopped for any lengh of time was when I changed the hand brake drum. The only thing I haven't...

I've got a Discovery 200tdi engine for sale in bitz. Head, crank, turbo(will need rebuild) ladder frame, sump, oil pump, pistons & rods, power steering pump almost a whole engine. If you looking for anything give me a shout or it's all going on eblag.

I used a 200tdi stainless middle & made a side exit back box but you will need a welder, blue tack or some double sided sticky tape. :D You could bolt a 200 or 300 back box, it's up to you.

Yes, your right I'am mad! :crazy: Still what don't hurt you will make you stronger. No the camping wasn't that great Paul but it's done now, hopefully never to be done again. ;)
