i thought the steering damper was the shock absorber type thing behind the front bumper ?? this is under the front seats area . and yes , i am trying to find an oil leak !!! only ever seen puddles of water , but ive been told ive left oil in someones garage . but cannot find any drips !!!

last time i bought red , it was cheapest to buy volkswagens own , from the vw or audi dealers . was ages ago though .....

i fixed mine by trimming the cracked bit of the vac pipe (about an inch) then pushing it back on the tee .

if you have no reason to doubt him , why this thread ?? anyway , you can measure from tdc to bdc through the sparkplug hole .

iirc , you have to do it in one continual movement , and also have the ignition on .

i managed to get the book again today ... i noticed my ext temp was blank all the time the book was on , never noticed if it does this before . i pressed the button to direct air to face and feet , turned car off , and book had diasappeared when i turned thye car back on .

weight will be no problem . you may have to get and adapter made , as most dont fit on swan-neck type towbars . they normally fit buy bolting between the towball and the bracket . theres some really cool ones over here , that lower and lift the bike with ratchetting foot levers etc. but i'd...

dont think a bike would fit in the back upright. will fit on the back with a towbar bike rack though ;)

you can control the sub with the diversity .... its just thast nothing happens !!! i have some high-end gear left over from other projects (i'm into car hifi) but dont really want to do it to this car .
