sorry it go off subject Gemsdad but i need to get under my rr to check my trans box but im afraid to get under it. is it ok to put the front up on ramps the thought of getting a leek in the eas while im under it scares me

there is that the proper stuff is cheep i only used 3/32 as i had it there

i would say 2mm if you can't get 2.5mm as 3mm would be a bit loose.

i used 3/32 vac hose seems to fit ok

Thank you all for your advice i took the cover off and could see in the seat of one of the injectors a pool of diesel in there so i have changed the leak off pipes and will keep an eye on it i checked the injector pipe and is tite on the injector so fingers crossed it was coming from the leak...

Hi all don't no if this is anything to worry about but in the last week i have smelt diesel in the car and when you walk in front it smells quite strong i have looked under the bonnet and cant seem to see any leak the fuel filter is dry around the top and there don't seem to be any wet patches i...

I think its like you say there is more tyre's to choose from at the momment i would be glad of any thing the wheels i have on there as nice as they are just don't work the truck is slow it shake's at 30 40 mph and don't work in the snow it is just like driving a 2 wheel drive car i got stuck...

The answer is we just love them that's WHY AND WE WILL KEEP BUYING THEM boys and there toys as my misses says :D:D:D

i would'nt say that a RR is better than a disco there is a lot more to go wrong on RR im even starting to think i should of had a disco or even a deffender :doh:

They breakdown they have fault after fault there is always some thing to fix on them we pull are hair out trying to work out how to fix it without having to spend hundreds in a workshop and as soon as its fixed some thing else go's wrong so WHY do we buy them when there are better 4x4's out...

for any lube to work you first need to remove any moisture ie ice water ect so try drying it out as much as you can then you can use any oil base product to stop them freezing up any non water base prod should do the job ive used cooking oil before now when ive had nothing else to hand a lite...
