Mine did that on a 97 plate, laid upside down in the footwell while my mate hosed the car down......nothing:confused:.....rained,then a puddle in the footwell:eek:. So....process of elimination....sealed the screen first...bingo,sorted, how lucky was that:)...:fencing:
Ye thats whats stopping me at the moment ,although thre tranny only did 3000 miles last year, i work very local:). Called on the disco twice, when the snow was down...trannys are pure crap in snow ice mud, sand, grass, fish skins...etc

Hi ive had similar problems, changed lift pump, filter fitted return valve, been a nightmare starter for 3 week gid it one last chance bleed and its been fine, this week but i may do the same as you and replace fuel lines, where did you get the pipe from :)
Any body fitted one of these...did it cure the problem ??? Im refering to my earlier thread "poor starter lift pump". Replaced this and it hasnt sorted my problem, although the car feels better:mad::):eek::doh:
Ye so was mine drilled a hole in the transfer tunnel adjaecent the linkage and kept tappin it with a hammer an brass punch...plenty freeing oil though...done 2 like this
Went to it this morning the fuel filter had drained over night so primed it up and it fired up....noticed while priming diesel weeping from the injector pump couldnt see where from exactly,due to the grease n grime gonna have to clean it off and try that again. Checked the elbows to the sender...
