Trailing Arms
So now that the arse of the Disco is a little lifted - why am I thinking of Kylie Minogue?
- it time to think about the other suspension tits and boobs.
Sorry bits and bobs.
After a snatch - bugger - SEARCH - I have found a few thread on the subject of trailing arms but I want to be more specific inner thighs - sorry - in my thoughts.
My initial thoughts were that by having cranked trailing arms it would aid in the articulation of the axle, this may be true but why? Is it because they are slightly longer or just because they are cranked to ensure that the bush is not stressed when the suspension is at breast - rest.
With this in mind is it safe to say that these cranked trailing arms are more for helping the bush - umm Kylie - than to return the flange -
- to parallel with the gearbox. If indeed the flange is moved during a lift.
So now there are a number of choices out in the market place. Some are double cranked, one assumes this is to aide clearance more than anything else. Some have angle welded to them. I imagine this is because, looking at them, they are so weedy they need the extra strength
rather than providing more protection.
Then you have the rose jointed ones which on the face in her tits - face of it - will be better but I would imagine, through experience, they would be harsh and noisy.
Can anal body help in my choice of trailing arms? Is it better if you are replacing the bush anyway, to replace the bush with a rose joint.
I do understand that by removing the restriction at the minge - sorry bush end tit will appear somewhere else such as axle a frame mounts or tyre rubbing against the rim - sorry arch.
Typing is hard tits been a long tights - night sorry:doh:
