ye thinks its looking that way mate, im after the 110 so does that make a difference to which engine

ye im not blasting around but as long as its good for dual cariageway speeds and decent on and off round abouts

spose got to make my mind up then between the 300 bit more simple to work on or the td5 with more power spose there all different and its luck in the end but out of those to is there one thats known to be abit more reliable

right o thanks mate, as said in the last post whats the speed like in the 300 not looking to go fast thats what my beast is for lol but need abit about it.

thanks mate 6k is the very most I will go upto dont really want to spend that much but... going to be doing fair amount of road miles so really after the most reliable best for fuel and the best for power/speed if there is one. fuel wise going to mix with oil power/speed I know they arn't fast...

I know what you mean mate but I know I might get a stoneing for this and I know the defender isn't the best looking 4x4 but the the series to me look bloody fugly lol sorry

cheers mate will take note of those points. looking for one as cheap as poss really just wasn't sure what engine to look for so didn't set a price other than not to go over 6k. just need the most reliable defender model I can thats good for road use (economy) and great for the offroad...

arr thought veg oil was the same (thought you can get pulled for veg oil because your not paying taxies etc), didnt know that

is there particular years in production to look out for, for reliability

hello there people, im on the look out for a defender 110 and looking for abit of advice before I go and buy one in a few months. im a bricklayer and will use it for driving to site etc so needs to be a reliable model. i will want to do a gas conversion on it so it is cheap to run. the reason...
